The service
SiftWP ("the service") connects to a WordPress site you control via SSH, runs a weekly security scan, and applies automated or approved fixes. SiftWP is operated by Logic Nexa Solutions.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up and connecting a site.
Authorization to connect a site
You may only connect sites you own or are explicitly authorized to manage — for example, as the site owner, or as an agency acting on a client's behalf with their permission. Connecting a site you don't have authorization to access, scan, or modify is a violation of these terms, and may also violate the law (unauthorized access to computer systems is illegal in most jurisdictions, regardless of the tool used).
How scans and fixes work
- Scans run on a weekly schedule (or on demand) and check core files, themes, plugins, uploads, and the database for signs of compromise.
- Automatic fixes are limited to actions SiftWP determines are safe and reversible. Flagged files are quarantined, not deleted outright.
- Ambiguous findings — anything touching credentials, settings, or with meaningful risk of a false positive — wait for your explicit approval before any action is taken.
- Out-of-reach fixes — issues that need server-level access SiftWP doesn't have — are reported to you as a drafted support request for your host, not silently left unresolved.
SiftWP reduces risk but can't guarantee a site will never be compromised, and isn't a substitute for good hosting, strong passwords, and keeping software updated.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and can be canceled at any time — you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. Credit purchases are one-time and non-expiring. All charges are in USD unless stated otherwise. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use SiftWP to access, scan, or attempt to modify any site without authorization; to interfere with the service's operation; or to resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement.
Intellectual property
SiftWP and its branding, software, and content are owned by Logic Nexa Solutions. You retain all rights to your own site's content and data.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
SiftWP is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Logic Nexa Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including data loss or site downtime, beyond the amount you've paid us in the preceding 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using SiftWP and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including unauthorized site connections or abuse of the service.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify active account holders by email for significant changes.
